“Respite Care at B.A.B.E.S. helps me take care of myself, especially if I need to catch up on laundry or sleep.”

This mother is a single mom to three boys, ages two, four, and six. She works full-time to provide for her family. Although she is working full-time, it can be difficult to buy all the basic necessities. “Usually when I’m in between paychecks, I run out of stuff. Care packages have helped me and my family a lot.” B.A.B.E.S. also provides skill-building sessions to this monther. While she is in an appointment with our counselor, we provide care for her children. She is able to meet with a counselor and not have to worry about finding childcare for this one-hour session.
